Two differents species live in the sandy steppes of Kalahari, the suricati, also called the sentinel of the desert and a type of earth squirrel. Grouped in families and colonies of 20 to 50 , these animals, despite their differences, live in perfect harmony, each minding their own business which chiefly involves finding food. Apart from living together there is also a mutual understanding between them to defend themselves from the enemies. Their daily existence, which is often unusual and surprising is revealed by the indiscreet camera.
