A mexican expedition leaves to conquer Broad Peak. No local inhabitant had ever given this mountain a name. It was given its name, Broad Peak, during the expedition led by William Conway in 1892. It was conquered for the first time in 1957 by an Austrian expedition composed of Marcus Schmuck, Fritz Wintersteller, Kurt Diemberger and Hermann Buhl. The film besides telling us the story of the expedition, introduces us to the inhabitants, their culture, customs and religion.
