Two thirds of the Svalbard arcipelago in the Arctic Ocean is covered with ice. Twenty scientists speaking ten diferent languages, face blizzards, wind and snow in company of polar bears. The purpose is to find an explanation for the meltwater contained and stored in the glaciers. The scientists, led by a speleologist, penetrate the cave inside the glacier to explore the path created by the meltwater, but nature protects its secrets.
