The documentary is dedicated to the National Park of Manu, situated in the Peruvian district of Madre di Dios on the eastern borders of the Andes Mountain Range. The park has one of the largest concentrations of protected animals in the world. The manager, Eduardo Nycander, shows the work that is done to preserve the wildlife, and in particular some splendid species of multicoloured parrots.
