A few kilometres west of Trento, over 2,000 metres higher up, there is a mountainous area that atttracts both mountaineers and skiers. The Brenta Dolomites, with their pinnacles, peaks and extensive snowfields, dominate the Sarca and Noce valleys offering a spectacle of great beauty. The documentary portrays this vast area throughout the seasons, from valleys to snowcapped peaks, in an attempt to discover its secret.
