Benoit Chamoux and his mountaineering companions feats are recalled in this film by some of his companions. Chamoux was convinced that the feelings and emotions aroused on the eight thousands should be communicated to those lower down; for example to the pupils of the primary school «Caffe» in Chambery who, thanks to a satellite, could talk to the alpinist at base camp. These children with their simple thoughts, wisdom and tipically infantile optimism end the story.
