The documentary is the fifth in a series of programmes documenting the activity and history in the Hawaii Islands. Told from a historical prospective, the film highlights the major and most spectacular eruptions of Kilauea volcano and other famous volcanoes in the Hawaii. The history of them is interwoven with the culture and traditions of the native population and, of course, their daily relationship with the island’s volcanoes.
