High altitude mountain-climbing: after research carried out in the field during expeditions, an ascent to an 8,000 metre peak equivalent to the height of Everest at 8,848 metres and lasting 32 days was simulated for scientific reasons in a hyperbaric chamber at Comex in Marseilles. Eight young people, the film explores the experiences of the eight volunteers during the experiment.

In his long career as a director he has produced around fifty documentaries for television dedicated to mountains around the world. He has also made numerous works for the cinema, including “Momo le doyen” (2007), “Expérience africaine” (2009) and “La Pépinière du désert” (2011).
