This is the second documentary of the series realised by Folco Quilici on the Alps with the participation of the Italian Alpine Club. The art of the great film maker is combined with the culture and mountain skill of the CAI experts who helped him with the shooting and editing of the film. The film covers a complex itinerary which includes the Bellunese Dolomite ranges, from the better to less known ones, valleys, architecture, historical features, animals and snow covered forests. An unusual winter landscape for those who are used to seeing the Dolomites set in a green countryside. The contrast between the colour of the rocks and snow and the light, at times weakly filtering through the mists, at other exalted by the clear icy air, surprise us and offer extraordinary views ending with masterly shots of two climbing parties silhoutted againts the sky on the Comici route of Spigolo Giallo of the Piccola di Lavaredo.
