Hungary is certainly not known for its hills, even if it has some unusual ones. Szarsomlyo is the southernmost one and has an interesting Karst phenomenon. The flora and fauna, the atmosphere and beauty of the place reminds one of a Mediterranean landscape. There are marvellous caves full of precious rock formations as in the "Crystal Cave" which has recently been opened. The documentary shows an area that is now protected, rich in very rare animals and flowers, although it is still greatly exploited. Unfortunately the cement industry seems to be more important that the protection of nature.
