The film portrays the daring adventure of five Italians who participated in one of the hardest and extreme races covering 1,800 kilometres between the towns of Anchorage and Nome, in Alaska, following the same course of the mythical dog sled race known as "Iditarod".
Braving the rigours and dangers of the hard Alaskan winter, the five Italians set off on the formidable route: three on mountain bikes and two on foot. The reportage covers the whole of their adventure, illustrating the eve of the race, the reason why these athletes decided to attempt such a tough enterprise and everything that happens on the way. In the end three of the five Italians managed to reach their goal: the arrival in the town of Nome.
