RWENZORI CENTO ANNI DOPO
Marco Preti
Italy / 2007 / 28'
One hundred years after the prestigious expedition of Duke of Abruzzi (1905), an Italian team of scientific investigators fond of mountaineering, climbed the 6 main peaks of the Rwenzori massif in central Africa, to map its position and measure, with a scan laser, what still remains of the last tropical glaciers. Even if this mountain has apparently remained the same as it was one hundred years ago, it is revealed that the glaciers have almost totally melted.
