The “Lost Country” is Tchameria in the northern part of modern day Greece, which Muslim Albanians had to leave after the war. A land which is both sung of and mourned with deep nostalgia in Albania. The film follows Shaban Zeneli, an Albanian singer visiting Tchameria and expressing his nostalgia in song with his companions.
