Three Slovaks work in an alpine refuge hut in Val Senales, surrounded by snow, loneliness and mountains. They have not seen their family for five months. Now it is high time to go back home and rejoin the affectionate life and feelings that had been left suspended for a long time, suppressed by hard work and fatigue. This movie, with simple and delicate pictures, tells in a clear and inspirational way of the life of a refuge and the “end of season” melancholy in the mountain, recalling the nostalgia and anxiety before returning home.
