Glaciers are reliable indicators of the global climatic and environmental changes that our planet is experiencing. A hundred years after the Duke of Abruzzi’s climbing and photographic expedition to the Baltoro glacier on the Karakorum range, a team of scientists and photographers follow in his footsteps, with the scope of carrying out accurate climatological analysis and visually documenting for the first time the glaciological and environmental transformations which have taken place over the course of a century.
