Hube and Irene, an Alto Adige couple, live at the heart of the mountains and make everything they need with their own hands. Their special life is not that of recluses but one surrounded by nature and governed by its cycles. They spend the whole year preparing for the harshness of winter in the hope that spring is just around the corner.

Renata Medero
She studied communications, specialising in cinema at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. She produced images and advertising campaigns for the Titan studio, subsequently working as production director for companies specialising in feature films and commercials. In 2010 she completed her studies as a director at ZeLiG – School for Documentary, Cinema and New Media, with the film produced for her diploma, "Walden, oder leben in den Bergen ".
