The film is the portrait of 15 artists, mostly from Trentino, who place their works along the path going from the Gardeccia refuge to the Principe refuge in the Catinaccio mountains in the Val di Fassa. The film follows the work of the artists in their own workshops, up to the moment they install their works along the route. It is a way of bringing art to the mountains, in order to make it coexist with the alpine environment of the Dolomites.
