The film focuses on the motivation, ambition and passion of 5 people who have in common the desire to participate in one of the toughest and most exhausting mountain bike competitions in the international cycling panorama, the Südtirol Sellaronda Hero. Each of them brings their own history and personal ambitions with them: some are looking to win, others simply to reach the finish line. We listen to their stories in the two days leading up to the major event and follow their preparation, both physical and mental. In the midst of the magnificent setting of the Dolomites we then watch the astonishing performances of the champions, together with the progress of the other 2000 competitors.
