A journey around a real island but without a name, inhabited only by penguins. From the River of Doubt to Mount Sinai, the words blend in with the landscape. The map becomes a poem and the island a mystery.

Pauline Delwaulle
Pauline studied contemporary art and film at the Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Arts Paris-Cergy. After graduating with the highest possible marks, she worked at Le Fresnoy for two years. In her films she uses different means to sketch the uncertain outlines of landscapes. In addition to “L'île”, she made “Linescape” in 2010 and “Le grand sommeil” in 2009.
