A mountain landscape where time has stood still, marked by the shadows of a shepherd and his horse. When the animal runs away, the man hesitates about whether to look for it or let it go. The solution to the dilemma will appear to him in a dream. The marvellous setting transfers the interior emotions of the main character: bewilderment after loss, the enigma and the impossibility of understanding the animal’s “choice” completely, in a relationship of total equality with man.
