Forty-five minutes of film reconstruction and original footage from the film library of the Club Alpino Italiano and the archives of the Mauri family. In it the directors describe a man - Carlo Mauri – who as he himself wrote in his autobiography “Quando il rischio è vita”, has lived his life on the edge of the impossible. A journey to the ends of the earth, which over the years has become for Mauro an increasingly courageous and lucid journey of self-discovery.
