Henderson and Morris, close friends, are climbing an alp. They are connected by a rope. Due to carelessness, Henderson falls. In order to provide a counterbalance, Morris jumps off the other side of the wall. Henderson has fallen twenty meters and is hanging now, realising that the balance is delicate. He knows he keeps hanging as long as Morris keeps hanging. Morris doesn’t respond to Henderson’s shouting, he is sitting motionless in his harness and appears unconscious.
