At the age of 75 Rudolf has never abandoned his love for unspoilt landscapes, wildlife and solitude. His ideas eventually lead him to abandon Germany and spend much of the year in Alaska, where he arrived fifty years earlier in the company of his brother to construct a small refuge away from everyone, with the exception of a group of black bears that periodically return to pay him a friendly visit.

Christopher Stöckle

Christopher Stöckle was born in Karlsruhe in 1985. After various freelance jobs for the main German channels, he obtained a diploma at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in 2010. He made the documentaries El sastre/Der Schneider and Gingnéville.
