17-year-old Miguel ends up training as a butcher after dropping out of school. His apprenticeship, both at school and in the shop, consists of an almost military "reeducation", involving wearing a uniform and knowledge of anatomy. Miguel has to overcome various difficulties in order to be admitted into the orders of the corporation. Whether he succeeds or fails, his metamorphosis is underway.
