A wealthy Swedish family comes together to spend a holiday in the French Alps and enjoy a few days skiing in complete relaxation. However, when they arrive, during lunch at a restaurant high in the mountains, an avalanche sends all those present into a panic, particularly Tomas, the father, who in the face of the avalanche selfishly disregards his wife and children in order to flee. The episode leads to a deep rift within the family, revealing all the fragility of a relationship and role by now irretrievably in crisis.
