The torrential rain falling on India each year and upsetting the life of a whole subcontinent is one of the most incredible spectacles it is possible to watch. Sturla Gunnarsson documented the phenomenon starting from the first clouds forming over the southern regions, up to their arrival in major cities such as Calcutta and Mumbai, trying to capture the inextricable tangle of destruction and the creative power emanating from these imposing phenomena.
