In May 2005, forty-four recruits and a sergeant in the Chilean army lost their lives in a violent snowstorm while they were completing their last training march in the mountainous district of Antuco. Roberto Collìo seeks out and gathers the traces of this mysterious tragedy, entrusting the disturbed grain of the images and sound with the task of testifying to what has remained of the dramatic event.

Roberto Collío

Roberto Collìo, born in 1986, studied in Argentina, where he directed his first short film in 2009, adapting a short story by Horacio Quiroga. Returning to Chile, he has obtained numerous awards for his activities as a sound designer in different productions, without abandoning his activities as a filmmaker.
