The film presents the traditions of shepherds in Slovakia, their daily life and culture. This craft however is dying slowly and there are now only a few people dedicated to it. The film present three aspects of the shepherd’s life: everyday’s tribulations and joys of the modern young shepherd, memories of the old shepherd in retirement, and the skills of the craftsman producing instruments and tools for shepherds.
