Hari is a young taxi driver in a small town in the Indian Himalayas and he is about to marry a girl that he has never met personally – according to tradition. However, thanks to his mobile phone he has succeeded in remaining in close contact with her for months, falling hopelessly in love with her. The preparations for the marriage are an excellent pretext for observing a microcosm suspended between modernity and tradition.
