In 1935 the Swiss writer Robert Crottet, suffering from tuberculosis, decides to set off in search of images he has seen in an dream and arrives at a small village in the north of Finland. Here he comes into contact with the local community and falls irretrievably under its spell. He gets to know Kaisa, the custodian of an incredible heritage of stories and magical traditions, who from then on will become a decisive presence throughout his life.

Katja Gauriloff

Born in Inari, in Finland, she studied direction in Tampere from 2000 to 2004. She is co-founder of the production company Oktober. Her works include A Shout into the Wind (2007) and Canned Dreams (2012).
