The Asiatic cheetah lives in Iran and is one of the big cat species threatened by extinction. This documentary analyses the current situation, showing us the surviving population (by now limited to less than fifty animals) and describing the difficulties encountered by activists in their fight to conserve this magnificent animal, the national symbol, by now extinct throughout Asia outside Iran.

Fathollah Amiri
Producer and director, Fathollah Amiri was born in Iran, in 1981. He received an M.A. in Broadcasting Production from IRIB’s University. Amiri is a member of the Iranian Documentary Filmmakers Association and the Iranian Documentary Producers Association.
