In 2018 UNESCO included the art of dry stone walling in the list of the world’s Intangible Cultural Heritage. The documentary observes and recounts some of these artefacts during the winter, when the surrounding vegetation is barer, almost immobile, making them less invisible. An opportunity to learn about and reflect on the landscape, the relationship between man and nature, material culture and the history, ethnography and architecture of mountain and rural environments.
