Since the end of the war in Yugoslavia they meet once a year, somewhere in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The ground which they step on is full of danger. A threat which, even after twenty years, is still out to kill and injure people. Their status as minesweepers has not been defined by the state and so, the feeling of constant uncertainty has become normal for them. However, not to the feeling of being a worker without a profession.

Born 1987 in Switzerland, he discovered his passion for film and photography through his many travels. Since 2010, he has been working part-time as a freelance filmmaker and photographer in Bern, Switzerland. In 2015 he brought out his first documentary film. For Talking Soil, he lived and worked in Bosnia and Herzegovina for a year.
