After having competed all her life and having won almost everything there was to win, Angelika Rainer decides to give up competing and start a personal journey to rediscover herself, her relationship with the past and with nature. In front of the most difficult rock and ice walls in the world, the climber faces a moment of self-reflection on her career, in search of new stimuli and new routes to climb, in freedom.

After studying in Venice, she joined CANAL+ in Madrid. In 2012 she directed her first film ENDOMETRIOSIS, LA PUNTA DEL ICEBERG and in 2013 she debuted at IDFA with the film produced and directed with her partner Angel Esteban ONE MINUTE FOR CONDUCTORS. Since then, they have directed and produced TOM (2015), AUSPICIO (2019), and MALDITOS (2020), co-produced with Altrove films.
