In the place where Italian and German-speaking groups clashed for decades, today we find thousands of migrants requesting recognition. In a journey from the Brenner pass towards the south, we recount the metamorphosis of an area, characterised by the increasing presence of foreigners. From meeting points and workplaces to family gatherings, we follow 12 people, who talk about themselves, their sense of identity and belonging to a community.
