Massimo is a mountain guide. He recently started working with a therapeutic residential community known as Casa di Giano in Santa Massenza, Trentino. With him, some guests and community workers will try bouldering before attempting the long routes of some of Trentino's rock faces. His travel companions are people with a history of drug and alcohol addiction who are struggling to build a future in which they can stand on their own two feet.

From Genoa, he began climbing in the 1990s. He obtained a diploma from the Istituto Italiano di Fotografia in Milano. In 2012, he founded OpenCircle to produce videos linked above all to mountain environments and extreme outdoor activities. He currently lives in Isera.
