More than twenty years after the end of the conflict in the Balkans, Mauro Barisone returns to the places where he once coordinated one of the many humanitarian expeditions involved in the reconstruction. Thanks to a small group of young athletes, we rediscover places that were the scene of conflict but also of reconciliation. The documentary offers a cool look at a still uneasy country, the unspoilt landscapes and wilderness representing an important element in its rebirth.
