Monte Magnodeno (1241 m) is in the foothills of the Bergamo Alps, in the province of Lecco. For a century intense quarrying activities have been carried out in the heart of the mountain, with no less than three active quarries (Vaiolo alta, Vaiolo bassa and Cornello) extracting limestone. Faced with drastic changes and strong economic interests, the film recounts the memory of a landscape through a performance on the move. In silence.

Luana Giardino (born in Milan on 9 January 1988) graduated at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera. She has always had a keen interest in video art and has undertaken several artistic projects. She obtained a diploma in documentary making from the Civica Scuola di Cinema in 2015.
