In the quiet Trento cemetery, an unusual problem upsets the community: an invasion of rabbits that eat flowers and dig holes between graves. The town's elderly women, exasperated, ask local politicians for help. Claudio Cia, an opposition politician, takes matters into his own hands, devising extravagant plans to catch the rabbits, while the mayor and his staff look for legal and practical solutions.

CinemAMoRE Award - Special Mention
Ed. 2025
At a time when bears and wolves are at the centre of debate in Trentino, with dry wit and sensitivity as regards the local community, the film recalls the unusual invasion of Trento cemetery by rabbits a few years ago, here taking on tragicomic and “legendary” characteristics. An original story, enriched by archive research and lively interviews, with the use of music that supports the narration with surreal creativity.
