Courmayeur is a village at the end of the Aosta Valley, at the foot of Mont Blanc. It has 3,000 inhabitants and a tranquil lifestyle, marked by the pace of the mountains, sports, nature and human relationships. It is also a renowned tourist resort, favoured by clientele from Milan. At weekends and during the winter holidays, it is thus transformed into Courma, with roaring engines, nightlife and clubs dedicated to partying and luxury. The snow becomes a playground and the mountains provide the backdrop.

Elettra Gallone
Elettra Gallone (1993) is an author, director and photographer. She graduated in Media Design from NABA (Milan) and after completing an MA in Social Anthropology at SOAS (London), she combined her interest in cultures and societies with cinema verité. She has documented humanitarian missions in Benin and Iraq. She participated in an artistic residency with Werner Herzog, producing two short films. Her first film, Incontrando Samir la Sera, will debut in 2022 at the Filmmaker Fest in Milan.
