In the woods of Fobbia, Claudio spends his days obsessively carving wood. Years earlier, his son vanished in that very forest. Since then, Claudio has been uprooting trunks and shaping them, convinced his son is hidden within. His story echoes a reversed tale of Pinocchio.

Paolo Baiguera
Director and filmmaker, born in 1998. Paolo Baiguera works on documentaries, short films, and music videos. He has collaborated with, among others, Sky, Rai, Kon-Tiki Film, and Indigo Film. Since 2023, he has been working alongside Alessio Rigo de Righi and Matteo Zoppis on the film HEADS OR TAILS?, selected for Cannes 2025, Un Certain Regard.
