Fifty years after the first feminist movements in Italy, two generations of women meet in the mountains of Trentino, to exchange views and share their stories. FÉMENE explores the daily struggle for women's emancipation, focusing on the transmission of experiences and intergenerational solidarity.

Director
Elena Goatelli
Born in Bolzano, she graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature from Ca' Foscari University in Venice. After her degree, she began working in the documentary department at Canal + Spain. In 2012, she began working on the production and direction of documentary films together with her partner Angel Esteban.
