The director follows her grandfather's daily life, imagining that her recently deceased grandmother accompanies him. A story about loss, unfulfilled dreams and desires, which becomes a generational comparison and a reflection on the position of women.

Director
Eva Demattè
Eva Demattè has a degree in Modern Literature. She is currently in her third year of film studies at the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome (NABA). LA PAROLA AMORE NON ESISTEVA is her first short film, winning the prize for Best Short Film, the Cinematografo Special Prize and the Prem1ere Film Award at Naba Cinema Awards 2025.
