A mysterious epidemic that turns people into zombies has spread across South Korea. The government collapses in a matter of hours, and there is widespread panic. Jung-Seok, a former navy captain, tries to flee to Hong Kong with his family on a makeshift ship carrying other survivors. When it is discovered that one of them is infected, chaos ensues on board. This film is the sequel to TRAIN TO BUSAN, also directed by Yeon Sang-ho in 2016, which was a box office hit at home.
