Memories resurface in a story told in the Arbëresh language by a young girl, recalling the period when she was a child, silently observing her mother's depression. In a harsh and uncertain Calabria, marked by silence and ritual gestures, the little girl discovers that the adult world hides a deep need for intimacy and contact.

Antonio La Camera
A director and screenwriter selected in over 150 international festivals, Antonio La Camera won the Best Short Film Award at the 38th Venice International Film Critics' Week in 2023 with LAS MEMORIAS PERDIDAS DE LOS ÁRBOLES. In 2025, his film LE MUR DU SON, produced during the Locarno Spring Academy, premiered at the 74th Locarno Film Festival.
