The whole of high society meets up in Cortina d'Ampezzo, including Princess Dala (Claudia Cardinale) with her precious diamond, the “Pink Panther”, and British playboy Charles Lytton, joined by his daredevil nephew. Perhaps there is also the international thief who calls himself La Primula, but French Police Inspector Clouseau is on the alert, in his own way.
