ACROSS EMPTINESS is the story of a real crossing of the Dolomites by a group of splitboarders and alpine skiers in an almost fantastical space: that left by the pandemic and the closing of ski lift systems during winter 2020/2021. A journey that lays the foundations for comparison between the emptiness of unspoilt spaces and that left instead by areas with a high level of man-made development. An opportunity to raise questions about the future of the alpine valleys.
