Only 20 people live in the small village of Ravne, near Tolmino, situated on a small plateau surrounded by mountains. The rugged natural environment provides a modest living which unites the inhabitants in a close knit community that knows and bands down many folk dances. The love for this tradition is demonstrated by the "Razor" folk group composed of the villagers and all those who want to conserve the tradition of dancing.
