On spring evenings in May, people meet to pray the Rosary; a manifestation of people’s devoutness but also a valuable opportunity for socialising. This also happens in a small chapel in the Dolomites of Val Badia. Fifty “Hail Marys” make up the Rosary.

Paolo Vinati
Paolo Vinati (Brescia, 1967) graduated from the DAMS faculty in Bologna with a degree in ethnomusicology. He has carried out various research projects in Lombardy, Trentino Alto Adige, Austria and Montenegro, publishing books and editing several CDs. He has made ethnomusicological and ethnographic films.
