MUT is a day in the highlands, an allegory for a centuries-old summer tradition of life across mountain pastures. Through the eyes of two young herders and their parents, the cyclical rhythm of life becomes a universal testament to the enduring bond between humans and animals.

Giulio Squillacciotti
Giulio Squillacciotti (Rome, 1982) is an artist and director. His work is based on exploration of possible narratives and the way traditions take on new forms when changing context. He studied Medieval Art History in Barcelona and Rome, to then obtain a master's degree in Visual Arts from IUAV University in Venice.
